SPG’s More For You promotion will run until December 18, 2016.
Here’s what you get:
- Double Starpoints on weekday stays of two or more nights
- Triple Starpoints on weekend stays of two or more nights that include a Friday or Saturday night (Thursday or Friday night for stays in the Middle East)
Your bonus Starpoints will generally post to your account 2-4 weeks after the stay posts.
This isn’t a promotion that you’re going to want to go out of your way to stay at Starwood hotels for, but it’s a nice little bonus if you already have stays planned with Starwood Preferred Guest. If you have stays that are planned with another brand, it might be worth considering switching those to SPG stays providing that pricing is competitive and the location is reasonable based on your plans.
The biggest downside to this promotion is that one night stays are excluded from earning bonus points. It’s pretty rare for me to stay at hotels for longer than one night at a time, though when the price is right I will definitely consider it, so I won’t be able to make use of the promotion at all, at least considering what I currently have planned. You never know, though, so I still registered!
There are some hotels that are not participating in this promotion, so double check the list of participating hotels before you commit to your stay.
Are you going to be able to rack up any bonus Starpoints with Starwood’s More for You fall promotion?
