Barclaycard Arrival Plus Increases Bonus to 50,000 — That’s $500!

The Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard is one of the best credit cards available for those of you looking for a simple credit card with no bonus categories or requirements to keep track of. Better yet, the sign-up bonus for this card has returned to 50,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your credit card account.

50,000 bonus miles is a great signup bonus on any credit card, but with the Barclaycard Arrival Plus, this means cold, hard cash. 50,000 miles can be redeemed for a statement credit of $500 toward a travel purchase and Barclaycard will even give you 5% of those miles (2,500) back to use on a future redemption.

The Arrival Plus earns two miles per dollar spent on every single purchase you make, every day. These miles can be redeemed for one cent each toward travel purchases, and just like with the signup bonus, you’ll get 5% of your miles back after making a redemption. This miles rebate effectively makes this card 2.1% back on all purchases as long as you redeem your miles for travel — a fantastic cash-back rate for a credit card that doesn’t require you to keep track of any bonus or rotating categories.

There are some other great features that this credit card has that will make your travels go more smoothly, too. Don’t worry about paying foreign transaction fees when you are traveling outside of the U.S. because the Arrival Plus doesn’t have any. The Arrival Plus is also a full Chip + PIN credit card which will make your purchases in Europe a lot easier — especially if you are looking to buy train tickets from unmanned kiosks. In some areas, if you don’t have a Chip + PIN card, you won’t be able to buy a train ticket at all!

The Arrival Plus is one of my favorite credit cards because it is just so simple to use, earn miles, redeem miles, and the additional benefits of the card are perfect if you like to travel. With a 50,000 mile signup bonus, now is absolutely the time to apply for this card!
